- 4 cups of thinly sliced apples (about 3 to 4 apples)
- 2 Tablespoons sugar
- 2 Tablespoons brown sugar, packed
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- A couple dashes of freshly grated nutmeg
- 2 Tablespoons butter
Directions
In a microwaveable bowl, stir together all of the ingredients (except butter) until the apples are thoroughly coated. Once mixed, place the butter on top of the apples. Microwave for 8-10 minutes, stirring once halfway through. You want your apples to be fork tender. Once cooked, slightly mash the apple mixture to help reabsorb the juices. Enjoy!
